Sacred plants are either connected to ritual practice or considered of high cultural importance. This encompasses trees, flowers, fruits and other vegetation associated with religion and folklore, but also that have had a profound impact on humanity. From musing over customary sheaves to looking romantically over far-flung ethnobotanical research, this is an endeavour to celebrate the sacred plants in every sense, in any place, to anyone.
