AFFIRMATIONS AGAIN
In 2023, I created “ARCHIVE OF AFFIRMATIONS,” a screen-printed, linen-bound book that became my most resonant work. Rooted in a trauma-informed, intuitive practice, my art balances personal healing with public engagement.
Drawing from the Sloppy Craft movement, I embrace imperfection; frayed edges, visible threads, and raw handwriting to reflect the complexities of mental health and vulnerability.
The overwhelming response to this piece led to a second volume, “AFFIRMATIONS AGAIN.” This tactile zine continues the dialogue, combining text and imagery to offer both comfort and confrontation.
Each page invites readers to engage physically and emotionally, challenging traditional boundaries of art and audience. Hard to feel. Soft to the Touch.
