Bag-charm Wind-chime is a poetry mini-zine about some windchimes I made out of scraps I had laying around. While working on these chimes, my craft instinctively followed the concept of “femme science” coined by Kim Katrin Milan. Femmeness has its own knowledge creation system, often discarded by main society, because of femmephobia. In this mini zine, I create my own world that is held by women and femmes, and our history of crafting, diy, and community. The poetry in the zine describes the life that the windchimes embody, and is made to hopefully provide inspiration for other crafters. I also make homage to lilac realms, and spring dimensions, because I know that other worlds are possible where we can all be ourselves freely. When we create these worlds through imagination and art, we can create them spiritually, which can be the first step for a physical, liberated future.
