The name isolarri originates from the Venetian tradition of 'island books'. Each issue of the magazine is dedicated to a singular idea/story:

This issue is titled F Letter: New Russian Feminist Poetry. It assembles the feminist poets who have palpably changed the Russian language over the past decade. Against the backdrop of state violence and oppression, this is electric dissent in pursuit of a democratic, egalitarian future.
