Really Broken Pencil

In "Really Broken Pencil", Jonathan Rotsztain gives a first-hand account of the collapse of Broken Pencil magazine following the founders inability to adapt to community criticism. The zine also includes an essay by Ro Diamant about the loss of BP on the scence.

Jonathan Rotsztain is an artist, writer and dreamer based in Toronto and one third of graphics duo ALL CAPS Design. His autobiographical and fiction comics and zines deal with class, identity and self-esteem while using the power of drawing to conjure the fantastic. Rotem Anna Diamant is a collector, artist, and librarian based in Victoria BC. They co-founded Canada Comics Open Library (CCOL) in 2018 and maintain the Canadian Cartoonists Database. Their most recent project is Lost Doll distro.
