The No-Jean Manifesto
"The No-Jean Manifesto began as a personal commitment: I chose to never wear pants again. What started as a simple decision five years ago turned into an ideology—one that prompted endless questions from acquaintances and ultimately led to this zine. It’s both silly and serious. A declaration and a document of resistance. Crafted through risograph printing, a medium embraced by grassroots publishers, activists, and zine-makers. No-Jeans means no more self-compromise. It starts with small, firm nos to figure out what you stand for and why.
This zine seals it: I’m not wearing them again."
About the maker: Mexican designer and illustrator Sarah Núñez explores packaging, printmaking (lithography, linocut, risography), and absurd creation. A recent York University grad, she blends storytelling, vernacular influences, and structure, working through type and image to explore and transform new mediums every day.
