GUT is a London-based art magazine made by Ami Evelyn Hughes. The publication focuses on art, culture, history, eroticism and magick, with a European (and particularly German) focus. It is produced annually and has quickly developed a cult popularity. Stocked in concept stores, book stores, galleries and museums (London’s White Cube and Tate modern) and selected boutiques. Each issue is a limited run, in order to maintain the GUT ethos of ‘anti-slick’ or mass-produced. The publication has engaged a following of leading creatives within both the fashion and art worlds. Contributors include both household names and emerging talent.
