We started Mag Club to make discovering independent magazines easier—but also to build a sense of community around our love of print. With a bevy of titles at our fingertips, we’ll be curating a seasonal selection of titles that will include some of our current favourites, plus a magazine curated just for you.
Subscription boxes ship out at the beginning of each season. That’s September, December, March and June. Each collection has been thoughtfully crafted with our members in mind and will include an extra here or there. Think special edition shop merch or a gift from a brand partner.
We want these deliveries to surprise you, but above all we want to help you discover the very best of independent magazines from around the world.
Every delivery will be a little different but you’ll always get your moneys worth! Each box will include at least one title—likely two—we’re obsessed with and one title we’ve picked based on your interests.
We’re rolling with the seasons, so you’ll get a fresh delivery every three months. That’s March, June, September and December deliveries.
When you check out, use the notes section to tell us what you’re into, what you’re not into and what magazines you already subscribe to. We’ll use these details to customize your mailing and choose a title just for you.
When you first sign up, we’ll send your delivery out 1-2 business days after we’ve received your order. Shipping times vary depending on where you’re located, but our website will give you good indication when you check out. After your initial order we’ll ship your subscription box out in early March, June, September and December.
Only time will tell! But if you want a little taste, we can tell you what we've sent in the past:
- Fall 2023: The Happy Reader, Swill and The West End Phoenix. Plus a little extra shop shop!
- Winter 2023: Seen, The Drift, and Picpus. Plus a little extra from The Candy Bar.
We’re being very intentional about how we roll this service out. We’re keeping sustainability in mind—knowing exactly how many members we have helps us only order what we need—but we’re also making sure we can keep up with demand. We’ll be releasing new spots on the regular, so add yourself to the Waitlist and we’ll reach out soon!
You’ll be charged on March 1, June 1, September 1 and December 1. You’ll get a reminder from us before we charge your card each time.
