SEMIOLOGY is a full, playable deck of cards that uses programming language (p5js) to draw each graphic symbol according to different operational rules. Each simple graphic symbol or unit constructs its own unique visual patterns and rhythms to create unexpected images.

In the process, the code guides us to deconstruct order and experiment with randomness; to balance order and disorder. We see this as an exercise to design without design software and  a collaboration with programming languages. It comes from a desire to embrace chaos and let go of design as a means of control.
