Posterzine #95
Posterzine is People of Print’s monthly publishing project, which aims to create affordable art for the masses. Each issue is made in collaboration with a different artist or designer to create a stunning hybrid piece: a mini-magazine which folds out into a gorgeous A1 format poster!
It is the only poster in the world that is registered with the British Library as a magazine. Posterzine is published by People of Print (In Perpetuum) in partnership with Pressision Printers & Finishers & G.F. Smith Papers.
In this issue: Zetafonts
For the 95th issue of Posterzine® , take a closer look at the most famous Italian type foundry in the world, Zetafonts, known for its elegant fusion of traditional Italian design elements & contemporary trends. To date, the award-winning foundry has published more than two thousand different fonts belonging to more than a hundred typographic families. With over 32 million downloads on Dafont.com, Zetafonts’ creations are taking Italian font design global. The foundry’s most recent font — called Artusi — takes inspiration from one of the best-loved features of Italian culture: its food. Named after the Italian food writer, Pellegrino Artusi, its creators describe the font as “the secret ingredient to delicious design dishes”. Here, founders Francesco Canovaro, Debora Manetti, and Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini tell us about their story so far, the thinking behind Artusi, plus the perfect Italian menu. More than two thousand fonts.
