Regional Archive Artist in Residence Program
Shea Chang has an artistic practice that traverses the realms of drawing and painting through sculpture & installation, printmaking, and public art. Often described as primal, archeological, and reminiscent of alien ephemera or vintage graphic design, Shea’s imagery has manifested through solo & collaborative projects in Canada, and internationally for over 15 years. Shea teaches as Assistant Professor at OCAD University and works from her studio in Hamilton.
Shea Chang's work is being shown as part of the Regional Archive Artist in Residence program. The show will be mounted in-store until September 15, 2024. The Artist in Residence program extends the art from the printed page to the liminal space of the shop, creating new opportunities to feature artists working in print and on paper.
