In this Issue: Issue eight is full of creatives who's brilliance and curiosity cannot be contained in just one form. With his latest projects, Julio Torres has developed from writer and stand-up comedian to lead actor and director. Thomas Lopez Jr., a young veteran of the climate justice movement, recently launched a new nonprofit focusing on the queer indigenous experience. The Olympic fencer Ysora Thibus took her time away from the piste to launch a magazine focussing n women's issues in sports. Ellen Hodakova Larsson, the winner of this year's LVMH Prize, hand-sources secondhand everyday materials like ballpoints pens and sewing needles for her distinctive clothing and accessories.
