Posterzine is People of Print’s monthly publishing project, which aims to create affordable art for the masses. Each issue is made in collaboration with a different artist or designer to create a stunning hybrid piece: a mini-magazine which folds out into a gorgeous A1 format poster!

It is the only poster in the world that is registered with the British Library as a magazine. Posterzine is published by People of Print (In Perpetuum) in partnership with Pressision Printers & Finishers & G.F. Smith Papers.

    In this issue: Owen Gildersleeve

Gaining the spotlight in Posterzine®'s 94th issue is the skilled paper cutting expert Owen Gildersleeve. With expert application of light and shadow, Owen masterfully brings his pieces to life -- you can almost hear the crunch of fallen leaves in his autumn-themed artwork for the Guardian, or feel the fizz of an erupting Fanta bottle in his work for the Coca-Cola Company. His work, with its tactile and sensory qualities, has earned him commissions from a wide range of clients including Apple, Sephora, and NASA. In this interview, Owen shares his journey into handcrafted illustration, the growing popularity of paper art, and how his family life intersects with his work.
