Belonging To Shadows
How to be queer in Vietnamese? This zine dives into the brief history of representation and culture around queerness in Vietnamese Kinh society. Made as an accompanying piece for the Asian Arts and Culture Trust exhibition "On Practices of Belonging", we explore how these presences of queer identity, no matter how scarce and outcasted, have created a space for people in the past and in the present to belong to, regardless of the colors of their souls.
