Grithbith's Knits
Grithbith knits so many things. He is excited to show his friend Bartie the new bonnet he just knit for himself–until something shocking happens. This children’s picture book is about learning to share the things you make. It is aimed towards ages 2 – 7, but will delight anyone with a love for fibre arts or sharing handmade items. The classic and simple hand-drawn text makes it easy for early readers. It was illustrated using pen and charcoal on papercuts, arranged and scanned on a kraft paper background and risograph printed in monochrome black ink. The illustrator added hand-coloured elements in red pencil crayon to each copy. This first edition of fifty-two risograph-printed books was printed by local Victoria print shop Print Hole and hand-assembled by the illustrator.
