Belonging To Shadows
"How to be queer in Vietnamese?" This zine dives briefly into a small history and representation of queerness in Vietnamese Kinh society and culture. Created by artist Danni Nguyen as an accompanying piece for their work at the Asian Arts and Culture Trust exhibition "On Practices of Belonging", it serves the purpose of uncovering, analyzing and validating the scarce and outcasted presence of Viet queerness, and hereby reaffirming the belonging of anyone who identifies with the colors and shadows.
