Growing on Sundays

Growing on Sundays is a zine that recounts the mysticism of the woods that I used to live near when I was younger. I would often go on walks with my parents on an old path that used to be train tracks. Seeing the old tunnels and overgrowth made me feel both comforted yet watched by imaginary forces. In this zine, I explore whether I believed them to be benevolent or the cursed me to experience the misfortunes I would experience when I got older; akin to the way the Ancient Romans would blame their own impurities on the gods.

"My zines aim to reflect the complexities of being a queer artist, ranging from topics of memory and self-mythology to care and joy. I am a fan of vintage Halloween, clowns, witches and feeling the total weight of your existence hit you on a summer's evening in the park while eating Wendy's."
