Byline, Spring/Summer 2026
Byline platforms cultural and creative writing, paying extra special attention to niche observations, sartorial sagas, deep cuts, and deep dives. Alongside literary contributions, each thematic issue features interviews, short columns, fashion, and internet behaviour.
In this issue: Out Of Body
This issue of Byline explores a range of out-of-body experiences: EMDR, dissociation, body alteration, Ozempic, abortion, the high of sexting, and the low that comes after. On one cover, painter Tallulah Dirnfeld embodies girlhood through a depiction of delicate, light-blue boyshorts. On another, the photographer Etienne Francey captures metamorphosis with a blue moth. Both works represent bodily phases, physical forms, and the spiritual implications they carry.
