Subsequence #08

"Arts & Crafts for the Age of Eclectic" Subsequence is an experimental media project that discovers and disseminates topics related to crafts and culture from around the world through an alternative perspective. Large in format and  impression, Subsequence is a dedicated and delicate in object and story. 

In this issue: A Sense of Something?

Issue #08 challenged "the quick, easy, and cheap way" to reconsider the daily ritual, the gradual accumulation, the taking of time, the refusal of short cut. Features in this issue include a long-established fishing tackle shop and rod maker that specializes in Herabuna-zuri, home cultured yeast bread, the home building philosophy and style of “Sankakuya", yak wool weaving, Hiroki Nakamura, Visvim and his contributions to the “Fluxus” movement, and much more.
