The Dodge – Return to Roots: Writing Toward Land
The Dodge is a literary magazine of writing, translation, and art on place and environment. They invite broad interpretations of our eco-themes and especially seek creative works that imagine a just future for the planet.
Return to Roots: Writing Toward Land is a special teaching issue on Palestine and the global Indigenous struggle. The Dodge calls attention to Palestine as an environmental issue—an occupation of air, water, and land; a forced removal and genocide of its Indigenous population; an irreversible damage to its natural landscape and resources; a violent erasure of its ancestral villages; a persistent violation, exploitation, and continued harm to its wellbeing and ecology at large.
This issue is guest edited by Sara Abou Rashed. The cover art is done by Haneen Nazzal.
